RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the effect of applying narrative therapy theory into game on improving the quality of bowel preparation in children, and to provide a basis for selecting nursing intervention methods before bowel preparation. Methods:This study was a quasi experimental study. Totally 62 children who took polyethylene glycol electrolyte dispersion for bowel preparation in Gansu Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to December 2021 were included in this retrospective study. They were divided into control group with 28 cases and experimental group with 34 cases according to random number table method. The control group was given conventional bowel preparation and medication guidance, and the experimental group was given the intervention during bowel preparation by applying narrative therapy theory implanted games. The bowel preparation adequacy rate, complete medication taking rate and parental satisfaction of the two groups were observed and compared. Results:The bowel preparation adequacy rate and complete medication taking rate in the experimental group were 94.12% (32/34) and 52.94% (18/34), respectively, which were higher than 46.43% (13/28) and 10.71% (3/28) in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ2 = 15.23, 10.41, both P<0.01). According to the average BBPS score, the experimental group had better intestinal cleanliness compared to the control group (7.65 ± 1.07 vs 6.07 ± 1.41, t = -4.87, P<0.01), the difference was statistically significant. 97.06% (33/34) of the parents in the experimental group expressed satisfaction, which was higher than 64.29% (18/28) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 12.74, P<0.05). Conclusions:By applying the narrative therapy theory implanted games, the complete taking of high-dose bowel cleasing agent can be promoted and the quality of bowel preparation can be improved, which is worth suggesting as a nursing intervention method for bowel preparation.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the application of UW solution in the replantation of the rat limb, and to explore a simple method for the ideal preservation of the amputated limbs. Methods From September,2017 to Janurary,2018,one hundred and twenty healthy adult male SD rats, weight 320-350 g,were randomly divided into 8 groups:A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H group. The isolated limbs of the control group A,C,E,G were cryopreserved in refrigerator at 4 ℃,while those of the experiment group B,D,F,H were preserved under the same condition after being perfused with UW solution. All the severed limbs were replanted back to the rats after different time length of cry opreservation:A,B 12 hours,C,D 20 hours,E,F 28 hours and G,H 36 hours.During the operations the femoral artery and venous patency were detected immediately after anastomosis. And after the operations the survival rates of limb replantation were observed. On the third day after the limb replantation, the tibial posterior muscle tissue was examined for pathology. The cell areas in pathological photographs were compared with Image analysis software Image-pro Plus 6.0 and the ultra structural changes of skeletal muscle tissue were observed. Results The femoral artery and venous patency in experiment group A,C,E and control group B,D,F were all 100 percent. However,in the group G,H the severed limb vessels changed obviously, the patency dropped markedly and the survival rates of limb replantation turned out to be 0.The experiment groups perfused with UW solutions, had relatively higher survival rates compared with the control groups (12 h:93.33% vs.53.33%,20 h:80.00% vs.40.00%,28 h:53.33% vs.13.33%) and the skeletal muscles edema was lighter than that of the control group, with a larger proportion of cell areas(12 h:69.49±8.57 vs.44.75±6.34,20 h:56.34±7.73 vs.36.69±5.74,28 h:45.76±8.23 vs.31.49±7.72).There was a significantly difference (P<0.05).Electron microscope observation showed that the experiment group bore a lighter damage of myofibril, interstitial tissue and mitochondria compared with the control group. Conclusion The combination of UW solution and cryopreservation of organs is an ideal and proper way to preserve the amputation limb,to extend the time limit for replantation, and to achieve a better recovery effect of postoperative limb function.Besides,UW solution is easy to be promoted in the treatment of isolated limb in clinical work.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the quantitative analysis based on three-dimensional computed tomography (3D-CT) in contouring surgery of complex craniofacial fibrous dysplasia (FD). METHODS: 14 patients with craniofacial FD underwent 3D-CT scan. Axial images of patients with craniofacial FD were reconstructed into 3D model by using Mimics 10.0. Anatomical landmarks were located and the coordinate of the landmarks obtained. The differences between the right landmarks and the left were calculated and analyzed. Quantitative contouring surgery was performed based on the quantitative analysis result. RESULTS: With the detail data from the 3D-CT analysis, the surgery of contouring was more safe and accurate with less operation time, less bleeding and good results. CONCLUSIONS: The method of 3D CT quantitative analysis can provide precise information in the diagnosis and treatment planning of craniofacial deformity. Based on the result of 3D-CT quantitative analysis, the operations can be performed more accurately and safely with good symmetric consequence.

RESUMO

Objective To compare the mRNA expressions of interleukin (IL)-17 and IL-23 in peripheral blood of patients with psoriasis vulgaris versus healthy individuals, assess the relationship of these parameters with psoriasis area and severity index (PASI) score, and to investigate the therapeutic mechanisms of total glucosides of peony (TGP) for psoriasis vulgaris. Methods Fifty patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 40 healthy individuals were enrolled in this study.Of these patients,42 were treated with TGP of 600-900 mg twice a day for 8 weeks.Blood samples were obtained from all the healthy individuals,50 patients before treatment,42 patients after 4-week treatment, and 23 patients after 8-week treatment.Real-time fluorescence-based quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) was used to determine the mRNA expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 in the blood samples. The severity of psoriasis was evaluated using PASI score before and after the treatment.Statistical analysis was done by t test, rank sum test, and Pearson correlation analysis using the SPSS16.0 software. Results The IL-17 and IL-23 mRNA expression levels (given in △Ct value) in the patients before treatment were significantly higher than those in the healthy controls (IL-17,-5.32 ± 0.80 vs.2.79 ± 0.76,t =47.71,P < 0.05; IL-23,-5.43 ± 0.68 vs.-3.77 ± 0.86,t =10.38,P < 0.05),and positively correlated with the PASI score (r =0.61,0.52 respectively, both P < 0.05).A significant decrease was observed in the mRNA expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 as well as PASI score in the 42 patients after 4-week treatment with TGP compared with those before treatment(IL-17,-2.24 ± 0.61 vs.-5.30 ± 0.78,t =20.40,P < 0.05; IL-23,-1.97 ± 0.74 vs.-5.44 ± 0.68,t =21.69,P < 0.05; PASI,5.8 ± 2.7 vs.9.4 ± 4.2,t =4.68,P < 0.05),and in the 23 patients after 8-week treatment compared with those after 4-wek treatment(IL-17,-1.51 ± 0.78 vs.-2.21 ± 0.59,t =3.50,P < 0.05; IL-23,-1.27 ± 0.81 vs.-1.89 ± 0.72,t =2.70,P< 0.05; PASI,3.8 ± 1.8 vs.7.3 ± 2.5,t =5.47,P< 0.05).Conclusions It seems that both IL-17 and IL-23 are involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris, and TGP treatment can reduce the mRNA expression levels of IL-17 and IL-23 as well as PASI score in patients with psoriasis vulgaris.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the activation status of T lymphocytes and to measure the expression of OX40 and OX40L mRNA in peripheral blood from patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods Peripheral blood was collected from 30 patients with SLE and 15 healthy controls. The expression of CD38 and CD3 on peripheral blood T lymphocytes were quantified by using a two-color fluorescence activated cell sorter.Fluorescence-based quantitative reverse transcription PCR was performed to determine the expression levels of OX40 and OX40L mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs).Results The coexpression levels of CD38 and CD3 were significantly increased in patients with SLE compared with healthy controls(t =3.12,P < 0.05).Increased expression levels of OX40 and OX40L mRNA were observed in patients with active SLE compared with those with inactive SLE and healthy controls(F =4.13,3.12,both P < 0.01).The level of OX40 mRNA was positively correlated with SLE disease activity index(SLEDAI)score in the patients(r =0.35,P < 0.05).Conclusion Abnormally activated T lymphocytes and upregulated expression of OX40 and OX40L mRNA may play a certain role in the initiation and progression of SLE.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effects of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) in promoting tibia and fibula fracture healing in rats. Methods Thirty rats were divided randomly into two groups after establishing the animal model of artificial tibia and fibula fracture: a PEMF treated group and a control group. Radiographs were taken immediately postoperatively and once a week thereafter until being sacrificed after week 5. The blood was sampled to measure the activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and the concentration of bone gamma-carboxyglutamic-acid-con-taining proteins (BGP), calcium and phosphate in serum once a week, respectively. Histological sections were taken at weeks 3 and 5 to observe the pathological change of bony callus. Results PEMF of 15 Hz and 1.0 mT could sig-nificantly increase the amount of bony callus, significantly increase the amount of bony callus, promote the disappea-ring of fracture lines and the appearance of endochondral ossification and mature bone trabecula. The amount of colla-gen in bony callus raised and the process of callus moulding accelerated in PEMF treated group. In addition, the ac-tivity of ALP(P<0.04) and the concentration of BGP(P<0.05) in serum increased. Conclusions The PEMF of 15 Hz and 1.0 mT can obviously promote fracture healing of tibia and fibula in rats.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effects of an electromagnetic field (EMF) on the expression of fibro-blast growth factor (FGF-2) and it' s receptor (FGFR-2) mRNA in rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) in vitro. Methods Rat BMSCs were isolated and cultured in vitro. The subcultured cells were divided into different groups to be EMF stimulated at 1.0 mT. The expression of FGF-2 and FGFR-2 mRNA were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results Different frequencies and durations of 1.0 mT EMF exposure induced FGF-2 and FGFR-2 mRNA expression in comparison to blank controls. The expression of FGF-2 mRNA reached a peak after stimulation at 15 Hz for 10 min, 50 Hz for 60 min and 75 Hz for 30 min. And the expression of FGFR-2 mRNA reached a peak after 30 minutes at all frequencies. At 1.0 mT with 30 min exposure, the expression of FGF-2 mRNA peaked after 50 Hz stimulation, and the expression of FGFR-2 mRNA peaked after stimulation at 75 Hz. Conclusions Moderate EMF stimulation can significantly increase the expression of FGF-2 and FGFR-2 mRNA in rat BMSCs in vitro.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effects of electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure on osteoporosis in ovariectomized mice. Methods Sixty 8-week-old female Kunming mice were divided into four groups at random: a sham operation group (group A), an ovariectomized group (group B), an EMF and ovariectomized group (group C) and a nilestriol and ovariectomized group (group D). Bilateral ovariectomies were performed on all mice except those in group A. The mice of group C were exposured to a 15 Hz, 1.0 mT electromagnetic field. The mice of group D were given at nilestriol 1.5 mg/kg/week. The bone mineral density (BMD) of the lumbar vertebrae was measured before the mice were sacrificed at the 12th week. Blood specimens were collected every two weeks to measure the ac-tivity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and the concentration of bone gamma-carboxyglutamic-acid-containing proteins (BGP), calcium and estradiol in the serum. Histological sections were taken to examine and analyze the changes in bone trabeculae in the lumbar vertebrae after 6 and 12 weeks. Results EMF at 15 Hz and 1.0 mT intensity signifi-cantly increased the activity of ALP and the concentrations of BGP and calcium in the serum. In addition, the absorp-tion of bone trabeculae in the lumbar vertebrae was significantly restrained. Conclusions EMF at 15 Hz and 1.0 mT can restrain the development of osteoporosis in ovariectomized mice.
